The company “Azienda Agricola Marmo Maria” was founded in 1999 in “Contrada Cocevola”, the countryside area situated along the route that connects Andria to Castel del Monte, Federico II of Svevia’s manor.
The brand “AGRICOLA MARMO” and its products are the expression of the territory and its fruits cultivated with care and passion.
The name of the place where the company was born brings back to ancient jargon. “Cocevola” or “Cocevolo” indicates something that is easy to cook and this basically sums up the perfect combination between our land and our climate.
This particular and characteristic landscape scenary allows the company to make the most of the peculiarities of the territory and give life to the project of the “Great Indigenous Varieties “.
From the olive trees is produced an extra virgin olive oil D.O.P “Terra di Bari – Castel del Monte” from monocultivar “Coratina”, green oil with yellow reflections, artichoke scent, fruity taste and slightly bitterish.
The Wine Project, instead, sees as main subject the “VANDALO”, “Nero di Troia” in purity of great structure and extraordinary pleasantness that from the year 2010 falls within the D.O.C.G “Castel del Monte Nero di Troia Riserva”.
